Dear Colleagues,

Founded in 1953, the Turkish Physical Education Teachers Association (TÜBED) initiated the sharing of current and academic knowledge in the field of physical education on a national scale with the “3rd World Physical Education Congress” held in Istanbul. In line with this goal, the 13th International Physical Education and Sports Teaching Congress, which is a continuation of the scientific events held since 1999, will be hosted by the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Ankara University between October 31 and November 2, 2025. We are delighted to invite all stakeholders in our field to this important gathering.

As TÜBED, we consider it our professional responsibility to make the scientific output in the field of physical education and sports teaching in our country visible and to disseminate the creative practices and professional contributions of our teachers. We value all scientific and professional efforts aimed at improving the quality of physical education and sports teaching, from the adaptation of educational models developed worldwide to original applications.

This year’s conference theme, “Meaningful Physical Education,” aims to address, in its various dimensions, how learning experiences that will leave a lasting mark on children’s lives can be shaped.
